Washington couple Beth and Tyler jetted to Hawaii's Big Island to wed barefoot on the beach along the Kona Coast. They designed a beautiful and intimate reception right in the heart of Kailua-Kona at Daylight Mind.
The Locale
The bride tells us, "The reason we chose Hawaii is because you can't beat Hawaii! It's beautiful in every way. My family has traveled to the Big Island multiple times in the past and we have fallen in love with it. Kona is such a warm and welcoming town. Tyler and I wanted a small intimate wedding with family and a few close friends. We love the summer so we wanted it to be someplace warm and on the beach. And obviously there aren't any in Washington in February!"
The Dress
"I found my dress at BHLDNN. Originally, it wasn't what I had in mind but when I went to try on dresses the lady who was helping me picked that one and she just wanted me to try it on. It was the only dress that I had gotten emotional about after putting it on so I knew it was the one! All I can say is that it was perfect."
Wedding Style
"When it came to the style, I wanted to have lots of gold and sparkles but also wanting it to be beachyvand slightly rustic. To be honest, our wedding planner Sara Kam of Jots of Thoughts helped make the vision come true. She was truly amazing and we couldn't have done it without her!"
