Nomo Akisawa of Simply Sweet Photography worked with a team of creatives in Vancouver BC to produce these whimsical bridal fashion images. Today, we are sharing the beauty steps behind the look. The model Christina wore a lace Truvelle Madison gown that paired with custom-made jewelry by Elsa of Jeweliette Jewellery. A wildflower head crown with dogwood flowers was created by Unique Boutique Florals.  Vancouver, BC makeup artist Jasmine Hoffman shares her formula for a soft, glowing and romantic wedding day look.

The Face
I began with Bobbi Brown Primer and Skin Foundation to even out her skin, then used Laura Mercier's Setting Powder in translucent.. For the cheeks, I used Makeup Forever Pro Sculpting Duo to highlight and bronze.

The Eyes
I first primed her eyes with Laura Mercier Eye Basics in flax. To create a soft smoky eye,  I used Stila's Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner in lionfish, then smoked it out around the top and bottom lash line. I applied shadows from Stila's Eye's Are the Window Shadow Pallet in soul, applying champagne in the inner corner, bronze on the lid and coffee in the outer corner. I finished with Shu Uemura's Painting Liner in black for a smoky wing effect, then applied Georgio Armani's Eyes to Kill Excess Mascara. To complete the look, I used Slmissglam Beauty's Mink Lashes in dangerously glam.

The Lip
On her ips I used Shu Uemura as the base with Nars Turkish Delight Lip Gloss on top.

Hair stylist Cara Christensen created loose waves using a flat iron and dry texture spray to give Christina an effortless and romantic feel. She then tied two braids together at the back at the back of her head, making sure to leave out a few wispy pieces in the front to give it an undone look. Thanks for sharing your expertise with us, Jasmine and Cara!
