This past October, we attended the Marchesa Bridal Presentation in the enchanting courtyard of LadurĂ©e New York. The dewy garden set the perfect backdrop to showcase the gorgeous line of feminine gowns. This season's collection was inspired by the Japanese artform of flower arrangement, ikebana.

"Within the traditions of ikebana, the essence of each flower and leaf is emphasized using subtle curves and dramatic lines. The balance of all elements within the design determines the characteristic beauty of each arrangement. Every detail is essential to the grand design. While shaping each special gown, the Fall 2020 collection channeled these ancient practices. Gently contoured tulle silhouettes are framed by branched arches and elaborate floral embellishments, while sculptural gowns draped in duchess satin and embroidered taffeta are balanced with floral corsages and contrasting sheer corsets. Each gown exudes a refined elegance composed to display the natural grace and beauty of the Marchesa bride."
