Maui wedding photographers Dmitri and Sandra captured this engagement portrait session (part II) in the country setting of Kula, Maui at teh groom's family home. Alexa and Salvatore plan to be married on September 27, 2014 at The Villa, a working olive tree farm known as Maui's quintessential Italian estate. They fell in love with the Hawaii wedding venue on a site visit. Alexa says, "When we visited The Villa we knew immediately it was what we were looking for. We both love to travel and have spent time in Europe and connected with the European vibe of the property. It feels like Italy on Maui!"
Alexa says, "While we love the water and we go to the beach a lot, we wanted something different than a typical Maui beach wedding." The sense of place and family connection with the hills of Maui made Kula an obvious choice for their engagement portraits and eventually their wedding, to take place in September this year.
