Victoria and Daniel's destination wedding at one of Maui's most spectacular private oceanfront estate is picture perfect. The wedding team at Belle Destination Events coordinated all the fine details, captured by Tamiz Photography. The bride tells us, "Our vision for our wedding day was romance and glamour. We wanted people to feel like they were in a fairytale but also she that it was very heartfelt."
"Maui is just paradise and we wanted all of our guests to enjoy the opportunity of visiting this island. One of the biggest reasons we selected that estate was because of the privacy and the breathtaking views. I didn't want it done at an upscale resort because we wanted to have that exclusivity to our day. There are also plenty of sections on the property to utilize."
My wedding dress was a ivory strapless mermaid gown by Vera Wang. I also added a sash and veil by the designer to gift it a different look. It was truly my dream dress. I felt like a queen!
The style we wanted was timeless elegance. I wanted tons of fresh flowers to be all over the property. I love blush colors so that is what we had. I also wanted to have different textures incorporated in the decor so we had different linens and crystals everywhere as well. I had also envisioned over sized table arrangements but also wanted that romance feel so we added small arrangements in between with votives of candles to make it feel more intimate.
One special detail is that we wanted to make sure our son was included in the ceremony, so my husband had vows written out for him as well. It melted my heart.
I had my bridesmaids dressed by Jim Hjelm and they were wearing a french blue color. We chose to have all of them in different styles but all floor length just to give it a bit of depth. And I must say that color photographed very nicely.
