if there is one wedding gown designer that consistently takes our breath away, it is Reem Acra. After her utterly romantic runway show in New York last week, she said, "I wanted to say that you can have fun at your wedding. You can be sexy, sensual. It's about the shapes, the cutouts, the make-believe." We couldn't agree more.

The show's opening look (pictured above) is a silk georgette short-sleeve, embroidered crop top with a matching skirt that expresses the designer's ethos perfectly. The collection, entitled "Let There Be Light," was literally aglow in twinkling lights with brides adorned in pink and white flowers aglow in their hair.  And, of course, Acra's signature ornate, embroidered corsets and sheer-illusion dresses were stunningly romantic and ethereal.
