Big Island, Hawaii wedding photographer Ruth Anne captured a stunning bridal fashion session underwater. She tells us, "This shoot was inspired by my love for photography, fashion and the water-- a merging of some of the things that I'm passionate about. I love the ethereal movement of the hair and clothes that can only be achieved when they're shot underwater. You just can't replicate that."
"We shot this session in private pool here on the Big Island in Keauhou. I chose to do it in a pool because of the controlled environment, as opposed to the ocean. It had a clean simple backdrop (no tile) which gave a studio like look, but underwater. It's also much easier to manage outfit changes this way. The shoot was styled by myself and my friend Lianne Tamasese using clothing and jewelry that we've collected over the years."
