After Savannah and Tyler were engaged, the couple went on a hunt for the perfect wedding venue. The bride envisioned a romantic outdoor garden filled with natural beauty and soft colors. They found Arroyo Trabuco through Pinterest, and instantly fell in love with the venue upon seeing it in person. Savannah tells us, "Our florist was amazing and captured the wildflower look I was going for with soft blush colors and lots of greenery."
We loved Savannah's large bridal party styled in mismatched dresses. She put together a collection of styles from Jenny Yoo and Joanna August for her bridesmaids to choose from.
"Before the wedding everyone kept telling us it goes by so fast, and it really does! We chose to do a first look and it was the best decision. It was great to have that moment together before everyone arrived."
Savannah told us about one of her favorite elements of the reception:
"We loved our dessert table! This was one of the most important things to me because I am a huge dessert fan." All of their desserts were catered by Sweet + Saucy from Long Beach, and they turned out to be a big hit. The bride and groom opted for a small cake for cutting that was eaten the next day with family. Their guests had a plethora of other sugary options at the reception!
Savannah shared that during the wedding planning process, it was most important to her, "to make sure to not get sucked into all of the traditions that are 'necessary.' I wanted our wedding to feel like us and represent things we loved not just what we thought we had to do."
