Colorful Pacific Northwest Heritage Wedding

December 23, 2019

Ashley Cooper|Pacific Weddings

Both Miguel and Taylor wanted their wedding to honor their families and heritages. They made sure to incorporate their culture through both the big and the small details of their wedding day. Taylor recited her vows to Miguel in Spanish, party favors were flown in from Oacaxa, and even the wedding date was planned to fall on both Indigenous People's Day and Summer Solstice. There was an immense amount of personality and intention throughout the day. The bride even handmade earrings for herself and her bridesmaids to wear.

There ceremony took place in the open outdoors at The Fields at Willie Green's in Monroe, Washington. The colorful day was captured by Have Heart Photography.

Each detail came together beautifully with the help of the couple's wedding planner Michelle Ha and florist Flowers by Karen
