It is no secret that the striking mountains of Banff, Alberta, are full of magic. Every single inch of earth is bursting with fresh life. The air is cool and crisp, and the water is incredibly blue. Needless to say, there was no place more perfect for Sarah Kate and Josh to wed. It was all photographed timelessly by the talented Erich McVey.

Deep, rich colors and playful textures were integrated into each element of floral design by Bows and Arrows. An array of full, lively greenery arched above the couple as they exchanged vows. Beautiful flowers were placed so naturally within the installation that it almost seemed to be growing wild. And, of course, fresh blooms adorned pretty dinner tables, the lapels of groomsmen, an overflowing bridal bouquet, and a simple buttercream cake.

The sweetest little pink wax flowers easily complimented cool velvet blue and smooth grey table linens by La Tavola. Unrefined copper place holders and freshly cut fruit added a rustic touch to the table design.

Sarah Kate's sheer lace bodice and flowing silk skirt from Rue De Seine reflected the free-spirited nature around her beautifully. The couple's wedding planner Stefanie Miles brought out their authentic spirit of celebration through allowing the incredible backdrop of Banff to shine through. Each element of decor was simply brought to life, without competing with against the purity of nature that surrounded them.
