Amanda and Henry’s love story began in Jacksonville, Florida and quickly turned long distance when Henry received military orders to Hawaii. In a short amount of time, the pair truly got to know each other and knew they needed to be in the same city. A year later, Amanda moved to Hawaii to be with her love. She says, “Our relationship survived Henry’s two overseas deployments and that’s when we knew we couldn’t live without each other.” Henry proposed on a helicopter tour in the Hawaiian Islands! Amanda says, “Our wedding day was the most magical day of my life. I was surrounded by my family and dearest friends and got to marry my best friend. It was absolutely perfect!” Naturally, they hosted a simply pretty wedding celebration at the historic Kualoa Ranch on Oahu. Photographer Megan Pomeroy was on-hand to capture the beautiful day!
