We are always excited to share a new cocktail recipe! Mixologist Jonathan Rodriguez of W South Beach's Living Room created a selection of tropical cocktails using Barceló Rum. They make the perfect drinks for a warm destination wedding, bridal shower brunch, or poolside engagement party! Here are a few of our favorites:
Rum With Me
2 oz Ron Barceló Grand Platinum
.5 oz lime
.5 oz Coco Lopez
1 oz pineapple
1 basil
3 teaspoon granulated brown sugar
Top with Angostura Bitters
Serve in a double rocks glass and garnish with 2 pineapple leaves covered in brown sugar.
I've Been Drinking...Watermelon
2 oz Ron Barceló Añejo
4 cubes of muddled watermelon
1 oz lime juice
.75 oz sugar
Garnish with a watermelon wedge.
Skinny Beach
1 1/5 oz Barceló Añejo
1 oz Lime Juice
3/4 demerara syrup
Serve in coupe glass and garnish with a lime wheel and marigold flower.
Lulove
1 1/5 oz Barceló Platinum
3/4 oz lime juice
1.5 oz lulo syrup
Serve in a hurricane glass and garnish with a small flower petal.
