As with any important event, the drink selection can elevate the entire experience for your guests (and yourself!). You want to make sure that your guests have a wonderful time enjoying wine that tastes delicious, but is also reasonably priced in large quantities. We have put together a fool-proof guide to picking out the right selections for your wedding.

First, make sure that you have each category covered: red, white, and sparkling. You'll want a couple selections for your red drinkers, a couple for the white, and a go-to bubbly for toasting!

We suggest selecting two red options: one for the lighter palette and one for the deeper.

A Cabernet Sauvignon such as the elegant Double Diamond Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 (SRP $69.99) is a wonderful choice that any red drinker can appreciate. It is dense and concentrated with an incredible juicy flavor. The layering aromas of black currants, dark cherries, blackberry, cherry compote, toast, and oak spice with notes of herbs, pine cone, and dried earth are sure to satisfy your palette.

And as a lighter option, a Pinot Noir is a crowd favorite. The Bonterra Pinot Noir 2016 (SRP $18) is a complex, bright, fruit forward pinot noir with a hint of spice. It has a crisp, cranberry flavor paired with soft tannins for a long, dry finish.

With a similar approach, we suggest two options for white wine to offer your guests. A Chardonnay provides a buttery, rich palette that is always a crowd-pleaser.

The Snitch 2017 Napa Valley Chardonnay (SRP $35) brings a fresh approach to the traditional chardonnay. It balances apple, pear, and crème brûlée on the nose for an unexpected flavor. The palate offers richness, balanced by bright acidity.

And rather than the predictable and beloved Sauvignon Blanc, we suggest 2017 Robert Mondavi Fumé Blanc (SRP $23). Offering the same brightness as a Sauvignon Blanc, the Fumé Blanc offers a richer style. This bottle displays aromatic, white summer peaches with juicy Meyer lemon citrus, tangerine zest and a hint of gooseberry in each refreshing, mouthwatering sip. It is especially lovely for a summer wedding.

And lastly, it is essential to have a reliable sparkling wine to toast with.

Martini & Rossi Prosecco (SRP 14.99) is a classic choice that is loved for its deliciously dry and fruitiful style. It carries and aroma of fresh flowers, with a hint of apple, pear and thyme. It has a fresh, crisp palette with good citrus acidity, yet well-balanced with body and a fruit finish.

With these choices, you are guaranteed to have a wonderful selection tailored toward every single guest. Cheers!
